Car Holder for a Garmin Nuvi?
I am so frustrated! The suction cup that holds my Garmin keeps popping off my windshield. It almost caused me to have a wreck today when it popped off in heavy traffic and hit the steering wheel. I have been looking for a better solution to stablize it in my car but all I can find are more suction cup holders. There has got to be something better out there with NO SUCTION CUPS. Anyone have any ideas?
Actually, I had the same problem with my Garmin Nuvi suction cup —- until I discovered that simply lightly wetting the cup prior to attaching it makes it hold permanently. Also make sure it (and the window) is clean and doesn’t have any kind of grit or dirt on it.
There are dash mounted holders and “bean bag” holders but these are not as good as the suction cup, when you know how to make it work.
